Further Still & Charity

Good Evening people.

This has been a mixed week, from a training point of view, as you will have read in my last post, I messed up my intervals so I went on a short run after. I have been really good with my diet and have lost 4 pounds! I am now 14st13 first time I have been under 15 in a very long time.

I have been drinking lots of water every day, unfortunately (and as always ill be honest) my no alcohol until Silverstone crashed and burned!  I had 3 bottles of Peroni on Friday night, but in fairness that is a massive cut down to usual, I have also bought a single serve wine as a treat tonight, had to buy single serve as I cannot be trusted to just have one glass!!

What Do You Do After A Bad Gym Training Session?

You grab a Large Big Mac Meal, a bottle of Pinot Grigio, a big bag of crisps, wine gums and chocolate.  You then sit on the sofa and sulk at what a loser you are and how rubbish you are at running....

15km - My Furthest Yet

Hi everyone,

So it is Sunday evening and the end of week 11.  Since my last post I managed 6.73km on my short run and 15km today on my LSR, in total 28k all week.  So although I am not quite where I should be, I am happy with my progress after being ill.

Fast Food n Fast Running

Good evening all,

You will be glad to know this is not another post where I tell you I am ill again and not training. I managed a full week last week, and as long as I pick my back side off the sofa after writing this blog and do some X training and SnC I will have completed this week so far.

Starting over at Week 10

Hi everyone,

You will be glad to know I have managed so far to stick to full training this week, although it has been pulled back from where I was before I became ill some weeks ago.

Battling With Myself

Woahh its been a while! (well 9 days but feels longer)

So I thought I had best pop in for a quick cuppa and little chinwag with you lovely readers.  First can I say a massive thank you to everyone who leaves comments on here or on my twitter feed @FBB2VLM.  I love hearing from you, but most importantly it really picks me up to know that I am inspiring people to get out and run especially during my down moments.
