So I left you on Easter Sunday awaiting the arrival of Rob's Dad and partner who arrived shortly after I pressed the Publish button.  We had a lovely meal, copious amounts of red wine and lots of yummy desert.

Confusing My Distances

Sorry I missed blogging last week.  I'm not going to lie, I just didn't want to write!  I had a really busy week at work, where lots of things got on top of me.  I was exhausted by the time I got home every day and couldn't be bothered to train (Sorry Richard), I ate lots of rubbish, and drank lots of wine....

Further Still & Charity

Good Evening people.

This has been a mixed week, from a training point of view, as you will have read in my last post, I messed up my intervals so I went on a short run after. I have been really good with my diet and have lost 4 pounds! I am now 14st13 first time I have been under 15 in a very long time.

I have been drinking lots of water every day, unfortunately (and as always ill be honest) my no alcohol until Silverstone crashed and burned!  I had 3 bottles of Peroni on Friday night, but in fairness that is a massive cut down to usual, I have also bought a single serve wine as a treat tonight, had to buy single serve as I cannot be trusted to just have one glass!!

15km - My Furthest Yet

Hi everyone,

So it is Sunday evening and the end of week 11.  Since my last post I managed 6.73km on my short run and 15km today on my LSR, in total 28k all week.  So although I am not quite where I should be, I am happy with my progress after being ill.

End of week 4

So today sees the end of week 4, and unfortunately it didn't end well.  It was long run day, but having been to a party last night with unlimited free alcohol, I woke up feeling very ill... SHAME ON YOU READERS!  NO I didn't drink, I drove due to long run today and due to training for a marathon.
